Wellness After School was founded with every teen in mind, grounded in the belief that all young people deserve access to the tools and skills needed to set themselves up for a happy and fulfilling life. We believe every teen, regardless of their mental health status, benefits from learning coping strategies and self-care practices. Life can be overwhelming, and while not everyone may need a psychologist, everyone at some point needs to know how to manage stress, process emotions, manage thoughts, and foster meaningful relationships. Through our range of science-based wellness classes, we empower teens with practical, lifelong skills to build emotional resilience, self-awareness, and prepare for a fulfilling future.

Our Founder- Your Teacher

Kaylee Walters is a passionate educator dedicated to trying to make the world a happier place. While working as a high school science teacher, Kaylee realized that true education extends beyond academics; it requires nurturing happiness and resilience in young minds. Her own personal battles with anxiety, depression, and body image and her experience as a teacher, where she saw students struggling with the same, inspired her to launch a company focused on delivering engaging wellness courses tailored for teens. With her unique blend of personal experience and scientific research, Kaylee equips students with the tools they need to navigate the challenges of adolescence and foster lifelong well-being.
