It’s Wellness Girl Summer!

Overview

  • Teens will love our daily wellness workshops, designed to empower them with essential skills for a balanced and fulfilling life. Each day, they’ll dive into activities that promote self-esteem, resilience, and emotional well-being. Workshops will cover a variety of topics, including:

    • Coping Skills: Practical strategies for managing stress and emotions.

    • Self-Awareness: Exercises that help teens understand their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

    • Mindfulness: Techniques to stay present and grounded in the moment.

    • Self-esteem: Proven strategies to improve self-image and increase self-compassion

    • Healthy Boundaries: Learning how to set and respect personal limits in relationships.

    • And much more!

Each workshop is tailored to meet the unique needs of the group, ensuring that every teen feels supported and empowered to grow in their own way. These workshops provide a perfect balance of learning, self-discovery, and engagement—giving teens the tools they need to thrive, inside and out.

  • Each week, your teen will enjoy a trip to the beach—either Crandon Park or Miami Beach—and one exciting field trip to local gems like Fairchild Botanical Garden, Perez Art Museum, or the Frost Science Museum. Permission slips will be sent out before each adventure.

  • At Wellness After School, your teen’s safety is our top priority! We believe in empowering teens to explore, grow, and build their independence—but always under SUPERVISION! Our approach is simple: everyone participates as a group, and no one is ever left alone. This fosters a strong sense of community and ensures a safe, supportive environment for all.

To maintain this atmosphere, we have a zero-tolerance policy for any behavior that could compromise the safety or well-being of others. If a student is unable to follow these guidelines, they will be removed from the program to maintain the integrity of the experience for everyone. Please note that, as a result, no refund will be issued in such cases.

We’re committed to creating a space where all teens can thrive—safely and together!

  • Give your teen the gift of healthy eating this summer! While many places serve up junk food, we prioritize nutritious, balanced meals that fuel both the body and mind. From yummy bowls at Sweet Greens to mouth-watering wraps at The Last Carrot or delicious sushi, we make clean eating both fun and satisfying. Our goal is to help your teen develop lifelong healthy eating habits—all while enjoying every bite! And the best part? Meals are included in the price of tuition, so you can relax knowing that everything is taken care of.

  • Whether it’s group yoga, walks on the beach, walks on the beautiful trails in Miami Springs, or workouts at the park, we know your teen will learn to enjoy staying active. Workouts are designed to be energizing, and not too tiring, so that they have energy for the extracurricular activities they may be enrolled in.

  • Curious about the “leisure activities” on the schedule? Here’s what your teen can enjoy: board games, card games, drawing, painting, reading, journaling, documentaries, and scrapbooking. While teens will have access to their phones, we encourage them to stay present and engaged, with phone use limited to ensure they make the most of each moment!

  • Payment is due biweekly. Payment must be made 1 week before the start of the next 2 weeks. Payment for the first date is due 2 weeks before the start of the first date.

  • The $400 registration deposit is non-refundable. If you make the first payment and request a refund 72 hours before the start of camp, you will receive everything minus the $400 registration deposit and any processing fees. We understand that things can come up, so the first instance will be waived; however, after that, the fee will apply to ensure we can continue meeting our evening commitments.

Additionally, we’d like to remind everyone that payments are due on the specified date. If payment is not received by the due date, a $50 late fee will be applied. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a smooth and organized schedule.
